Surfboard Orders
All surfboard orders placed on www.darkstardirect.co.za are custom orders unless otherwise stated. Please note all custom orders take between 6 – 8 weeks to be manufactured.
If you are needing a surfboard urgently, contact us on info@darkstardirect.co.za and we see if we can find a stock board for you.
What are the fin system choices on the custom orders?
When ordering your custom surfboard from us, we allow you to select from the two best surfboard fin systems, FCS2 and Futures. We also give you the option of choosing from the available fin setups such as twin, thruster, etc.
Please note that none of our surfboards include fins unless otherwise stated.
What are the various product badges?
To offer our customers the widest range of products from the world’s best surf & skate brands, we have introduced our stock badges to help you know before you make your purchase whether it will be a custom order, shipped from one of our partners or if the product is in stock in Darkstar HQ.
Delivery
All of our parcels are delivered through Uafrica and partners. All orders are processed in 3-5 working days, and shipping times are 2-5 working days depending on your location in South Africa.
Returns
Our policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have gone by since your purchase, unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt of proof of purchase.

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.
If you are shipping any of our amazing products you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will be automatically applied to your original method of payment, within 5 working days.
Late or Missing Refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.
Exchanges (if applicable)
